It’s a dream of mine to one day have a lovely little garden in the middle of London. For now, I’ll have to settle for my little deck with a handful of potted plants. Don’t get me wrong, I love my deck, and they can look absolutely stunning in your garden with your potted plants, especially when bought from this wpc decking board. It’s a great place to relax and take in the fresh air, but I do look forward to the days where I have a proper garden. When I lived in America, I had a huge garden that was filled with so many different varieties of flowers and plants and it’s safe to say I really miss it. It was perfect. Of course, I did have to contact a pest control company one time to remove some pests that were eating away at my flowers. My friend had recommended https://www.pestcontrolexperts.com/pest-control/ for pest removals, so I contacted them. After that, my flowers were able to grow happily without any problems. Seeing a sea of color every time I opened my windows was a moment I took for granted. I even had a shed foundation contractor in Virginia come take a look at my garden to see where I could have a shed built into the garden so that I had somewhere to store all of my gardening equipment. Because the garden was so big, I had so many tools and nowhere to put them! I moved to Chelsea before I could have a shed installed but hopefully, one day, I’ll be able to have a garden just my old one. A girl can dream, and there is no better place for inspiration then the Chelsea Flower Show.
The Flower Show starts Tuesday, and we sure hope you got your tickets, because this fabulous event is now sold out. So here are some tips from American Girl for those of you who took her advice and got your tickets early!
There are a ton of foods stands serving everything from fish and chips to sandwiches, and as with any other summer event in London, there won’t be a lack of Pimms, but American Girl recommends the Seafood and Champagne Restaurant. Arrive at the show early, and head straight there and put your name down. Take a wander and when you’re ready to eat head back- you’ll be able to relax in a cool (and dry!) indoor venue and not have to fight for a place on the grass. If you’d rather picnic, claim your spot early, as the lawns fill up, especially on the Saturday.
If you haven’t already checked your ticket yet- make sure you are aware that this is not an event for your little American Girl or Boy. Children under five are not allowed, but you’ll be grateful when you get there that prams are not allowed.
Finally, it’s a very special year for the Flower Show, one of American Girls dearest friends is planning their Chelsea debut! If you haven’t seen or heard of Ethel Gloves yet, you absolutely MUST stop by their booth (Booth Cross, Way 4). These are the most beautiful gardening gloves that have ever been created, oh yeah and they are extremely functional too! I use mine, not only for my little potted plants, but for other chores around the flat.

Enjoy the show!
Cheers! xx
