On Sunday 11th September, Team Donna Ida (AG included!) will be running the Adidas Women’s 5k Challenge to raise £50,000 for Jeans for Genes. Jeans for Genes is a charity that provides funding for the care and support of children with genetic disorders. They also help to fund research into genetics and the development of effective treatments and cures.
This year the Donna Ida Team, led by denim boutique owner and Jeans for Genes patron Donna Ida Thornton, has a target to raise £50,000. To sponsor the team, please visit the online fundraising page where you can donate safely and securely. Please give generously to help them reach their target! Everyone who runs will receive a £50 gift voucher to spend at Donna Ida plus a gorgeous t-shirt from Enza Costa which will be designed and printed by the famous London designer Simeon Farrar. There are also some exciting prizes for the runners who raise the most money for this vital cause.
Donna said ‘I am so proud to be a patron for Jeans for Genes, it’s so important to make more and more people aware of the fantastic work that they do. This year, I’m hoping to raise more money than ever, and am teaming up with friends, colleagues, celebrities and journalists to run the adidas Women’s 5k Women’s Challenge as Team Donna Ida. We’re already having lots of fun training, and we’re promising goody bags plus cupcakes and champagne after the race as an incentive to raise as much money as possible and smash our £50,000 target.’

The Fine Wine Fair is Coming!

There are a lot of fun exhibitions, fairs, and sales that showcase at the Chelsea Old Town Hall, but this is one that I am excited about!
The Fine Wine Fair is coming October 15-17. This boutique event is accessible to anyone interested in drinking and learning about high-end wines. Red, white and sparkling wines will be in abundance, accompanied by carefully matched canapés…. Could you ask for a better weekend day out?

Hi girls. So, I am really excited for this weekend, its the Hard Rock Calling Concerts in Hyde Park. Last summer we got to see Dave Matthews and Bruce Springsteen, and this Saturday it’s all about Stevie Wonder. The concerts run from the 25-27 of June and Paul McCartney and Pearl Jam are also playing!
The summer concerts in Hyde Park are so much fun. Bring a big blanket, and your favorite people, order some food and drinks and sit back and enjoy the music! Lets hope the weather holds up- it’s beautiful outside!
