Last week I walked into the new Lomax Fitness and Wellbeing Centre on Fulham Road and was completely taken aback, it felt like I stepped into a lovely health centre in Los Angeles or New York…
The bottom floor of Lomax is is a café that features delicious and healthy meals and snacks all created by the in-house nutritionist and True Deli chefs. There’s also a juice bar serving living juices that help alkaline the body. I tried a “skin booster” smoothie with fresh avocado which was really refreshing.
I took a tour of the fitness area, complete with yoga and pilates sections. The great thing about Lomax fitness is that you don’t have to join the gym- it’s all about personal training and personal experiences. The innovative fitness pods are stocked full of everything you need for private training or classes.
Sore after your work out, or just want a little R&R? The wellbeing clinic and spa at Lomax has five treatment rooms and offers massage, osteopathy, cranial therapy, acupuncture, and bespoke facials!
After my gym tour I settled into the clinic. I’ve had a number of pregnancy massages throughout this pregnancy and the one I had at Lomax was, no joke, the best one I’ve ever had. The therapist really listened to me when I complained about my lower back and worked on it with the perfect amount of pressure.
Lomax is a one-stop-shop for everything you need to get healthy and feel amazing! I am so glad to know that someplace like Lomax exists, since I am going to need to get my pre-baby body back this summer.
There are two Lomax locations, one in Chelsea and one in Victoria, OR you can have one of the Lomax trainers come to your home! There. You just ran out of excuses not to check them out.
