After an INCREDIBLE wedding weekend in Hong Kong, American Husband and I have arrived in Koh Samui, Thailand. A trip we have dubbed our “babymoon,” (I’m due in April), we are having the most lovely time enjoying the beautiful sunny weather, tasty Thai cuisine, and a lot of sleep.
We are staying a Napasai, a fantastic resort which is part of the Orient-Express group. With a luxury stamp of approval like, Orient-Express, I knew we couldn’t go wrong when we made our booking. (After all who can beat the Cipriani in Venice, right?)
The hotel consists of 55 cottage-like rooms, some nestled in the hillside and others perched along the ocean. I would definitely recommend one of the beach villas as you are almost directly on the water, and can enjoy the sunset from bed! You might find something similar if you’re looking at Koh Samui property for sale, however that would be your own slice of luxury to enjoy and you wouldn’t have to worry about other guests or think about your vacation coming to an end.
There are two delicious restaurants serving Thai and French cuisine and of course a beach (and lobby) bar, which Husband has been frequenting for mai-tais.
