When I was pregnant with Mini-AB (my second babe) and one of my girlfriends asked me if I wanted a party, I said “no!” I had a giant baby shower with Mini-AG and didn’t want to overwhelm people with another party. She replied “C’mon, we have to, we won’t have a shower, we’ll have a sprinkle!” And that’s just what we did, a small lunch at the Hotel Bel Air with just my closest girlfriends, and honestly, it was so lovely and intimate, I almost preferred it to my baby shower with 60 people at it.

So, when one of my closest friends found out she was have her second baby girl I told her, matter of fact, “We’re having a Sprinkle!” The newly opened Lanesborough Hotel was, in my opinion, the perfect place to have an afternoon tea for eight girls to celebrate.

I ordered name-place cards from Not On the High Street, adorable personalised balloons filled with pink feathers from Bubblegum Balloons, and my co-hostess brought cakes and cookies from The Chelsea Cake Company. I asked Paula Pryke, one of my favourite florists in London, to create small white arrangements to go down the middle of the table. I also found the cutest baby bottles with pink tops from Not on The High Street and filled them with pink jellybeans. I think the table looked beautiful, and my gorgeous girlfriend mother-to-be did too- tablescape success!

The Lanesborough played a GORGEOUS backdrop for the afternoon, I would definitely recommended visiting for tea. If you want to have party, even better!

This is the most beautiful baby sprinkle ever! I’ll have to get organizing one; I would love something like this in a few months’ time! xx
