American Girl in Chelsea

A chic guide for American women who have relocated to London, England.

{Mummy & Me} The Posh Purple Dragon Kids Club.

January 4, 2012 | Leave a Comment

The people that thought of Purple Dragon are geniuses. I finally took a tour last Friday of the exclusive kids-club and I was definitely impressed. Purple Dragon opened in September after relocating (and majorly expanding) from Battersea, and has become a huge hit with moms all over the South West.
The club has something for every child, including a swimming pool, music room, kids kitchen, and giant soft play area. Here are some snaps of my tour….
The custom-built pool and wet-play area where you can book swim, water polo, or scuba lessons.
One of the beach huts. Perfect for family-changing post-swim.
The kid’s kitchen where little ones can whip up a mud pie, stir up a milkshake, or hand roll some sushi!

The art room is perfect for pottery, painting, or model-making!
Mini-AG’s best friend couldn’t help but play us a tune in the “DJ’s and Divas” room, complete with a DJ booth, recording studio, baby grand piano, guitars, drums, and many more fun instruments.
The adult’s lounge where you can browse the papers, choose a book from the library, or just chill while your child goes bananas.
Revive with a power juice, indulge with a pastry, sooth with a cuppa, or enjoy a super snack either with your child, or with a fellow-mummy while the kids play!
There are a number of different memberships to choose from, including the “Out of Towner,” if you spend part of the year in the States.
