This is a really exciting post for me as it’s the first one on my newly designed blog! Horray. I really hope you girls like the new look. I feel like over the past couple years I’ve grown up a lot. London has officially become our permanent home, I’m a UK licensed driver and my two children are officially British citizens. As soon as I have the time to sit down and do the paperwork, Husband and I will also take our pledge of loyalty to Queenie. It was time for AG to be upgraded and to reflect a more sophisticated version of the original.

Along with my life, my style has also evolved. British girls are famous for mixing high-street with high-end, and while I don’t think I’ve mastered this skill, I’m enjoying trying. While writing a different style post, I found this baby blue and lace-inspired skirt by Sister Jane at Topshop, and thought it would be perfect for the warmer weather. I am a total sucker for a great silk white blouse and the lace detail on this blouse by Des Petits Hauts is perfect with both skirts and jeans. I found it at Donna Ida on Draycott Avenue, and you can shop similar ones here below.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again- if you make one purchase for the summer months, it should be a great pair of wedges. I bought these Jimmy Choo ones for Ascot last year and they will surely take me through another season of picnics, garden parties, polo, tennis and horse-racing!

I’d love to hear all of your thoughts on the new blog! Your comments, questions and encouragement is why I’ve continued to write for the past seven years! So a huge THANK YOU to YOU!

Blouse: Des Petits Hauts, similar from Derek Lam here.. Skirt: Sister Jane at Topshop. Wedges: Jimmy Choo, similar here. Purse: Chanel. Makeup: Scarlett Rainer. Blowout: Natalia Souza.

I just discovered your blog recently. I’m moving to London in 24 days (eek!) and I’m so excited to arrive in time for summer to do lots of exploring! I love the site. It looks great!
