Fellow AG, Nanette Lepore popped over the Atlantic last week to make a visit to her London boutique on Westbourne Grove and I was able to ask the lovely designer a few quick questions…
Who is your favorite celebrity that you love to see wearing your clothes?
I just worked with Emma Roberts on the launch of my new sunglasses. She’s so charming! I love seeing young girls like her have a strong sense of style.
How cute is this little number for cocktail party season!?
What are your favorite high-street labels/brand?
Lately I’ve been sporting the oversized camo sweater from Topshop. It feels like camo goes with everything right now.
What is the biggest difference between the way London girls style your clothes and girls in New York or LA?
English girls have an innate sense when it comes to mixing up their clothing. They like to keep things more casual and put a personal stamp on their look.

Do you have any pearls of wisdom for other working moms?
Now that my daughter Violet is a teenager, it’s a challenge staying connected with her. I try to make our house place where all Violet’s friends come to hang out. That way I get to spend more time with her and see what her friends are up to!
What do you miss the most from the States when you are visiting London?
Sunshine and Violet. Otherwise I could stay in London forever.
