Well, we’ve been in Hong Kong for just over 24 hours and pretty much all we have done is eat and shop. Which is fine, because (a) these are two of my favorite past times and (b) that’s pretty much what you do in HK. Why am I here you ask? For what is sure to be an extremely lavish and wonderful wedding. (Which will be followed by some beach-time in Thailand.)
Every person whom I spoke with that had been here had the same response, “You must go to China Club.” And so, today we went and majorly indulged in delicious dim sum.
The decor replicates the 1930’s and 40’s in Shanghai and Hong Kong and displays paintings and sculptures from artists from all over China. I loved the history of the place with photos of Princess Diana, among other notable patrons, displayed throughout the restaurant.
