After dining at Pont St in the Belgraves Hotel several times, I ended up begging Chef Sophie Michell to create a Thanksgiving Day menu for us AGs, and our families of course. Well, Sophie delivered!Currently one of the youngest female Executive Chefs in Britain, Sophie’s twist on the traditional American dinner is translated through a menu where sweet potatoes – to accompany the roasted Kelly Bronze Turkey and chestnut stuffing – are playfully paired with caramelised marshmallow and a side of mac and cheese, and the customary pumpkin pie is served up with a delicate ginger spice ice cream.

The Pont Street Thanksgiving Dinner Menu
To start:
Bourbon chicken liver pate, sour dough croutes and red onion marmalade Or
Winter salad of beets, red cabbage, apple, pomegranate and candied pecans and blue cheese
Followed by:
Roasted Kelly Bronze turkey breast, carved to order with chestnut stuffing Cranberry jelly and sauce
Sweet potatoes topped with caramelised marshmallow
Green beans
Mash potatoes
Mac and cheese
Brussel sprouts with maple syrup and bacon glaze
Or
Mini sage, cheddar cheese and onion pies with all the thanksgiving trimmings
To finish:
Pumpkin pie with ginger spice ice cream
