King’s Road has a yummy new seafood hot spot which you lovely girls must try. Located just at the bend of King’s Road at World’s End, Chicama has just opened it’s doors to an excited west London crowd. Chicama’s menu is inspired by the coastal food of Peru, and the restaurant has fresh fish deliveries each day from Cornwall. From the team that brought us Marylebone’s much-loved Pachamama, Chicama is the new must-have reservation in Chelsea. The kitchen is led by Pachamama Group Head Chef Tiago Duarte, hails from some of the most successful restaurants in London including Chiltern Firehouse, Roka, Zuma and Sushi Samba.
The interiors will make you swoon- and then there’s the food…
The portions are meant to share, which means that you can try a bunch of different things. We started with the pardon peppers and the courgette and cornmeal beignets, one of my favorite dishes on the menu.
We continued with a whole globe artichoke and the charred asparagus with creamed corn, queso fresco and chili, as well as the Cornish crab salad with green papaya, daikon, and lemon verbena.
For our mains we shared the Sea bass and a Lemon sole, and finished with Banana & yuzu ice cream, with torched meringue and coconut. There were so many things on the menu that looked do delicious and I can’t wait to go back to try some more.
