I just absolutely love exploring the little boutiquey hotels that London has to offer. Don’t get me wrong, I adore my staples (The Dorchester, Claridges, The Berkeley) but every once in a while you just find a total and complete gem that you may have overlooked.
Last Friday I had a really long and leisurely tea at The Pelham in South Kensington. You’d think that being right across from the tube station would make it a bit bonkers, but it is a warm and welcoming haven. My girlfriend and I sat in a beautifully decorated private room and were presented with the most savory scones and the sweetest treats.
Adore the china….
Delicious signature “Pelham Cake Pops!”
What I loved the most about the whole experience is discovering that the hotel will totally and completely customize a tea for your group or event!

The Pelham will also bring in manicurists, stylists, musicians, children’s entertainers, or whatever your heart desires. The staff is super flexible and will transform any or all of their private rooms, lounges, or bistro for your special occasion.
I just love it when you find this attention to detail and service in London!
