I threw one of my best girlfriends a lingerie shower this past Saturday at the Cheyne Walk Brasserie and it was absolutely fabulous if I do say so myself! We had some lovely canapes and champagne, but one of the highlights of the party (besides all the lingerie from Myla) was the cheesecake I ordered from the English Cheesecake Company.
I chose the “Summer Berry” which featured a cascade of plump strawberries, blackberries and blueberries heaped on top of a delightful vanilla cheesecake and digestive (So British!) biscuit base. It was to die for! The bride even managed to save a piece to bring to the husbands/boyfriends/fiances all waiting at The Phene afterwards- who devoured the remaining slice!
All in all it was a lovely Saturday, and my AG’s HAVE to try out the cheesecake for your next summer shin-dig!
For those that can’t go without chocolate, there is the fabulously royal “Strawberries and Queen” cheesecake which uses added Cornish clotted cream and is drizzled with luxurious Belgian white chocolate to transform a traditional favourite into something truly special. Yummmmmers!
Now this AG is off to the gym!

Just a word of caution on the above company – I ordered a cheesecake as they sounded so yummy, for a family BBQ – the cheesecake did not arrive on the delivery date specified and therefore did not make it to the BBQ – Very disappointed – I e-mailed the company twice to find out what had happened and got no response – I then had to call the company for a refund. It turns out that they delivered the cheesecake to the billing address and not the delivery address! As I was away my husband managed to try a small bit of the cake (not at it”s freshest but before it went completely off) and said that it was very nice so such a shame that they made such a basic error and that the response has been so terrible – I have not even had an apology from them! So I'm sure the cheesecake is lovely but just make sure you confirm and confirm again the delivery address!!

Hi FOB, OMG what a nightmare! They definitely owe you an apology (or a free cheesecake!) That happened to me once when I sent flowers to someone, and they showed up at my door because the shop used the billing address! Dingles! I hope maybe you can try the cake again sometime in its proper condition and location! Cheers! xx

Hi FOB, we're so sorry to hear you had a bad experience ordering with us last year. We do send out thousands of cheesecakes every year, so very occasionally a few of our customers experience a disappointment.
We rely heavily on our third party courier company who sometimes get things wrong. However, there is no excuse if you received a poor service when you called the office.
