We are all busy girls, especially during the month of December, and sometimes running out to get a manicure/pedicure just feels like a chore that you have to tack on to your laundry list of errands.
How about sitting back, relaxing and enjoying the experience? After all, getting your hands and feet rubbed and scrubbed is supposed to be a treat right?
A few months ago I attended the launch of The Hand and Foot Spa in Chelsea for The Notebook Magazine and I vowed to return for an appointment. Well, time got away from me and I FINALLY went yesterday for the most relaxing manicure and pedicure. The technicians are so sweet and really took the time to make sure each nail looked perfect.
A luxury spa manicure runs £42 and a spa pedicure is £47, but it is so worth it to treat yourself when you can!
American Girl’s Winter Tootsie Tip
I’ve been a shellac convert for as long as it’s been offered in salons. (It never chips through Mini AG’s art classes, cooking classes, or bath time!) Well, I had my toes shellaced for the first time at The Hand and Foot Spa, and I have to say this is the only option for winter.
According to my technician, your nails grow slower in the winter and therefore a shellac pedicure can last almost a month! AND, you don’t have to wait for your toe polish to dry before you zip up your boots, because who wants to run around in flip-flops in this weather?!
