American Girl in Chelsea

A chic guide for American women who have relocated to London, England.

{Beauty} The TWELVE facial at the Chelsea Day Spa.

June 14, 2012 | 1 Comment

I know you AGs (and readers) adore your beauty treatments. So, in the interest of the greater good, I have tried another facial for you, this time at The Chelsea Day Spa for their new TWELVE facial….

Upon arriving at the spa, I immediately knew that I was in good hands with my esthetician, Carmen. She was extremely thorough in asking about my skin care regimen, skin type, product use, and what I was hoping to get out of the day’s treatment.

Beginning with the TWELVE cleanser and toner, all of my make-up was taken off so that Carmen could really evaluate my skin and tailor the facial to my needs. Then she added a purifying cream to moisturize my skin and prepare it for a gentle cleaning peel that was full of  amazing smelling citrus scents.

My favorite aspect of the treatment was the Hydropeptide miracle mask. A 5 in 1 mask this fruity concoction really does what it says- exfoliates, hydrates, firms and brightens. Infused with Vitamin C, the mask was a treat for my skin that I have never experienced.

Lastly, the TWELVE moisturizer was put on my skin to seal in all of the freshness and to keep the treatments working on my skin throughout the day. Feeling fresh faced and ready to face the day, the rain did not even bother me anymore. A week later and I am still feeling the effects of the TWELVE facial on my skin!

The Chelsea Day Spa has locations on Hollywood Road and Kings Road.

Your write ups and recommendations are great, and I used to look forward to hearing about your new adventures. However, your site is (sadly) becoming very much of an on-going advertising campaign for Chelsea/King's Road products and services. That's fine if that's what it's truly all about, just please disclose it. It would be nice to know in each write-up, exactly how you are (or are not) compensated for your posts.
