Recently, I’ve discovered a new found love for make-up. It helps that my phenomenal make-up artist, Scarlett Rainer has become a dear friend and every time she recommends a new product, I absolutely HAVE TO have it. We decided that it would be fun to do a couple of blog posts for you guys, showcasing different looks from one of our favourite cosmetic brands, Tom Ford. So here we go with the first one….

This first look is all about soft smokey purple eyes which work great no matter what eye colour you were blessed with and for whatever skin tone you have. You can also wear these colours in the day or vamp them up for the evening.

To get the look start with the Tom Ford Intensive Fusion Ultra Rich Moisturiser, this is an an amazingly hydrating product and and perfect for the winter months to come. I don’t know about you,but it’s right about this time of the year that I notice my skin goes super dry, and this moisturiser is perfect to make sure your make-up doesn’t flake off along with your dry skin.

Next Scarlett added the Complexion Enhancing Primer in Peach glow which adds an illuminating glow and minimises pores. Hooray!! She then applied the Traceless Perfecting Foundation SPF 15 in Sable, with a damp beauty blender. Scarlett has taught me that a good beauty blender is an essential tool to make-up application. If you don’t have one, get one! I promise it will change your beauty-life.

Due to the fact that I am generally always tired, I always need help to take away the dark circles under my eyes and the Concealing Pen (in medium) is great for that!

To set the foundation we used the Flawless Powder Foundation in Sable and then opened up the beautiful Orchid Haze Quad Eye Shadow palette to get started on the eyes. The Tom Ford eye shadows are super pigmented and the colour that you see in the palette is truly the colour that you get. They are also very easy to blend. For blush we used the Love Lust Cheek colour, which just gives you that soft flushed look.

My favourite part, time for lipstick. I am currently OBSESSED with a good nude and First Time #9 is slightly more pink than the usual nude which makes the whole look so soft and pretty!

Always addicted to a good bronzer, we used Gold Dust Bronzing powder for a little golden tan. Never forget about your brows ladies, the Brow Sculpting Kit  fills in the brows and even has a wax for any unruly hairs.

Stay tuned for some more make-up looks to come, including one that is perfection for party season!
