Whether it’s perfecting your party season look or trying something different for the New Year, there is always a lot of fun to be had with make-up. It’s been so great learning about new products and tips from my make-up artist, Scarlett Rainer. So without further adieu, here’s the final post in this series for you ladies.

For the final, and my favorite look, we began using Tom Ford’s Illuminating Primer and Tom Ford’s Traceless Foundation (in Sable). One of the products thatI have literally fell in love with and can’t live without has been the Estée Lauder Double Wear Brush on Glow BB in 2W for right under my eyes. Scarlett always uses it, and now I can’t live without it. My under-eye wrinkles are my most self-conscious area and this really helps. It brightens up under the eye while concealing at the same time.

To make sure your look stays quite natural, Tom Ford’s Illuminating Translucent Powderis great, and for that extra little bit of bronze I love the MAC Mineralise Skinfinish.

Moving on to the eyes, another thing I learned was that it’s not enough to slap on some eye-shadow. There has to be a base for that long lasting wear. Scarlet used Eyebase MAC Eye Pot colour Chilled On Ice and then added Tom Ford’s Eye Quad in Cocoa Mirage (just the 2 lightest shades) over it. Following a similar routine will ensure your eye make-up lasts until the wee hours of the morning, trust me!

Now for the “Feline Flick” eyeliner situation. When Scarlett did this, I swore I would NEVER be able to do it myself, but then she taught me that it’s all about using an eye pencil first. If you do an outline with a pencil of a nice “flick” over the eyelid to the corners, then you have a map to use liquid eyeliner. We used the black liquid eyeliner from Sephora over a pencil to get this cool retro look.

For lashes, (over my amazing extensions from Claire at Eyelush) we used MAC Extreme Dimension Lash mascara. The blush is MAC Fleur Power with a touch of Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick. If you don’t have a Shimmer Brick yet, this is one of my favorite products to give you that well, shimmer!

I’ve fallen in love with nude lips lately. It means you can go crazy bold with your eyes, and never have to worry that your lipstick is in the wrong place, (i.e. on your teeth) because it’s nice and subtle. We used the MAC Boldly Bare liner along with Tom Ford’s Matte Lip colour in First Time.

Well there you go lovelies. That’s a wrap for this installment of beauty posts. I hope you had a little bit of fun reading them, because I loved writing them for you.
