AGs Fear of Spray Tanning, Cured.

July 5, 2011 | 1 Comment

I am late to the party with the whole spray tan phenomenon. Growing up in LA, I always had a little bit of color and a big fear of spray-tans. You know the scene in Friends when Ross only gets sprayed on one half of his body? That actually happened. To me. In College. Right before a sorority formal.

Anne Hathaway in Bride Wars…aka my biggest fear.

But now that summer is here (and lets hope it sticks around!) the shorty shorts and sun dresses are out. It’s time to find a solution to the paleness problem that does not result in utter disaster (or skin cancer for that matter).

SOLUTION: A visit to The Chelsea Day Spa will cure your ghostlyness in about 15 minutes with their Spray Tan by Vita Liberata. The tan gives the skin a sun-kissed look and is available in three shades: Hawaii (light), Equador (medium) and Brazil (dark). I got the Hawaii, and I have to say, I LOVE it and I got so many compliments at the weekend.

Why is this spray tan different you ask? Well, it’s all organic and paraben free for starters. Even better, its ODORLESS, which means you won’t be smelly for hours afterwards!

The best part is, you don’t have to be sequestered in your home the whole evening looking like an oompa lumpa while the tan settles. I threw on my heels and went out for dinner at The Dorchester that very same evening!

The cost for a single treatment is usually £55, but The Chelsea Day Spa has a current offer price of £27.50 per treatment, or 4 treatments for £99, which is pretty darn reasonable for a spray tan in this city!

Cheska from Made in Chelsea is a big fan of the Vita Liberata treatment at The Chelsea Day Spa:

I can safely say that my fear of spray tanning has been cured, and I have rebooked for a country wedding we have in two weeks.
