{A Date for Your Diary} The London WALKABOUT!

Good morning chickens! I am really excited to tell you ladies that I’m on the committee of the Walkabout Foundation’s annual flagship event, LONDON WALKABOUT, a 5k family fun walk in Hyde Park on Saturday, September 27th at 11am. Many of you may have attended Walkabout’s events in the past and know that this is a charity I hold very dear to my heart.

Walkabout Foundation is a charity started by siblings Luis and Carolina Gonzalez Bunster after their brother, Luis sustained a spinal cord injury which left him paralyzed from the chest down. Their mission is to fund research to find a cure for paralysis and to donate wheelchairs to people in need all over the world. They’ve donated over 5,000 chairs in over 15 countries in the span of 4 years and they’ve funded millions in paralysis research.

My family is so excited to be taking part in this year’s superhero-themed walk and I am challenging you AG READERS and your family to become #WALKABOUTHEROES for the day and join us!

Hundreds of people will walk together for those that can’t – in superhero capes while collecting superhero powers along the route with Sharky & George! And after making the 5k loop around the Serpentine Lake, you can refuel with a picnic lunch from La Bottega, hydrate with Rebel Kitchen, take your nails to the next level with Little Bu, stretch out your mega muscles in a yoga class with KX and recharge to the swing and jazz music of a live band and take part in many more fun-filled activities!
