There’s a couple things that I’ve learned from Fashion Weeks past. One, always wear heels that you can run in. I can’t count the amount of times I’m actually racing from one part of London to another in order to make the first look of a show. These monochrome heels by 3.1 Phillip Lim have a strap around the ankle and the heel height is perfect for sprinting. The second thing I’ve learned is, always carry a good size bag. Even if you’re not a blogger like me (I usually have two cameras and my laptop with me) then at least have one that can carry an umbrella. This messenger bag, again by 3.1 Phillip Lim, is the perfect size and looks really chic.
Finally, and most importantly, look put together but make sure you’re comfortable. A great pair of black jeans and a leather jacket is perfect. Unless you are a celebrity, save the ball gowns for the after-parties.. which brings me to my next look for inspiration…
I just found this dress by Tim Ryan and I am a little obsessed. Chevron and fringe? Give it to me now. Pair this party dress with these great rose gold shoes by Bionda Castana and add a matching rose cold cuff by Maria Black. Then, because all you need for the evening is your lipstick, phone, and keys, it’s time to break out a cute clutch. I just love this lipstick situation by Lulu Guinness.
