It may be way too early to start fathoming your ensemble for Ascot, or even outfits for upcoming Spring weddings, but I had to tell you about this event regardless.
If you’re an AG out there who always struggled to find the perfect hat to match your dress, why not make you’re own. Sahar Freemantle of Sahar Millinery is hosting a class where you can learn to be a milliner in just a short day. (This was just too fun not to post about.)
Sahar will start by talking a bit about the history of hats and the different materials used in millinery. During the class, which happens to be on Mother’ Day- so also a cute idea for a gift, you’ll learn how to make a hat base, shape feathers, use netting and many other millinery techniques.
All of the materials to make you’re own hat will be included. If you want to include something special, such a broach, you can also bring that with you to incorporate that into your creation.
All of that hat-making may make you hungry so there’s a healthy lunch included. What a fun girls day out!
