American Girl in Chelsea

A chic guide for American women who have relocated to London, England.

Raw or Robata?

I forgot how much I love Zuma Restaurant. I constantly complain about London not having good sushi- but in reality London has AMAZING sushi- at Zuma, which means if you’re really craving some great spicy tuna, it will set you back a few pence.  But every once in a while, treat yourself, it is delicious! (Being able to leave little American Girl with a babysitter for the first time called for a special night out.)
The maguro no tataki (seared tuna with chili daikon and ponzu sauce) was life changing, and the spicy beef tenderloin with sesame, red chili and sweet soy was scrumptious.  Make sure you have the sake sommelier pick you out a winning bottle.
If you don’t fancy heading to Knightsbridge, check out ROKA, Zuma’s sister restaurant on either Charlotte Street or in Canary Wharf.

Cheers! xx

Sake No Hana in St James is also a great place for sushi and usually has a discount on toptable!

Must say, I spent last Sunday with a table of girlfriends at ROKA Canary Wharf and I can't help but crave and rave about the just-launched, all-inclusive Sunday brunch!

From 11.30am, indulge in an extensive selection of soups rolls and unique dishes from the counter as well as a choice main served at table, ultimately culminating in ROKA’s acclaimed dessert platters. Brunch is served with unlimited wine and hand-muddled fruit juices for £38.90 per person.

Perfect for families, there's a specially allocated “kids’ corner” and the Brunch is complimentary for all children under 10 years old… Shall we?!
