Strolling through Harvey Nichols a few weekends ago I stopped dead in my shopping tracks when I saw these Elina Linardaki sandals. Gutted that I found them at the end of the summer, I quickly brought them to the till and I have pretty much had them on since.
I absolutely love wearing sandals. They are such a simple way to spice up an outfit and can add a splash of summer color to your ensemble. I own quite a few pairs of sandals and love reading about all the latest designs on the Rank & Style website.
For example, as much as I love classic designs with chunky leather straps and metallic buckles, I also have a soft spot for embellished jewels and fluffy pom pom designs. Sandals can be dressed up or down and for that reason, they will always be a staple in my summer wardrobe.
The bad news? Summer is coming to end. The good news? London has had a few hot Septembers on record, and if you don’t wear your sandals now, there’s always next year.
What are some of your favorite sandal designs? And how do you like to wear yours? Sandals are so versatile, you can wear them with jeans, shorts, a bikini, a dress, or a skirt, the possibilities really are endless.
Elina Linardaki are handmade in Greece, their trademark is a mix – and – match of naturally tanned leather and colorful details such as traditionally painted trims and ceramic beads, friendship macramé and pom poms, gold plated charms, even semiprecious stones and swarovski crystals.
Here’s a selection of my favorites…
