After my good friend, The Chelsea Mummy told me about her family photography session with Julia Boggio, I had to try her for myself. So, Mini-AG, Mini-AB and I headed out to Wimbledon one morning to have a photo shoot in the beautiful gardens of Cannizaro House. Mini AG started off quite timid but Julia, a fellow AG and mommy, was able to bring out her sweet and playful personality. It was my first time having the two kids photographed together and when I saw the photos I literally was teary-eyed.
As you know, I don’t like to put up photos of the little ones on the blog, but here is a tiny look at a selection from our shoot.
The viewing process of your photos is such a lovely experience. A slideshow was put together of all of the photos and then it came down to deliberating which ones we simply needed to have on the walls. I ended up purchasing two large canvases and multiple photo blocks to place around the house. I also took a sneak peek around Julia’s studio and have booked again to go back and have her photograph the Minis for our Christmas card. (To see if she has any sessions left for Christmas cards, click here.)
Julia’s work has been featured in The Sunday Times, on The Oprah Winfrey Show, and in multiple wedding magazines. She also specializes in “Vintage Boudoir” photography, which I am seriously considering booking.
