Every boyfriend I had in High School worked at Abercrombie, which perhaps could be the reason I haven’t stepped into one in ages. Then the lovely team at the new abercrombie kids store asked me to come in and take a peek at their brand new space on Savile Row. If you’re a mom, this store is definitely worth a visit, the store showcases three levels of the iconic American-prepster clothing for your Minis but if you’re not a parent, there’s still reason for you to see the cool space.
Built in 1733, 3 Savile Row is famous for being the home to the Beatles’ Apple Records headquarters and is also where they recorded most of their album, Let It Be. The Beatles even rocked out on the rooftop at 3 Savile Row for their last public performance. There is iconic memorabilia in the store that pays homage to Apple Records and The Beatles. Glass cases at the entrance of the store feature photos, books, records, and even a guitar signed by Sir Paul McCartney.
The fist abercrombie kids store is certainly worth a visit. Even though the clothes are still a little big for my Minis (they start off around age 7), I still walked out with a cozy faux-fur vest and hat for Mini-AG. I guess you can say I’ve fallen in love, again, With abercrombie that is.
