American Girl recently had her own little American Girl in London and it has been a wonderful experience. At first, I was very nervous about having a baby so far away from home, but I ended up finding a great support system, which helped a great deal. If you were planning on starting a family in London, AG would definitely recommend getting plugged in to an NCT group. NCT stands for the National Childbirth Trust and it’s a great service run by the UK government.
The NCT offers childbirth preparation classes, breastfeeding seminars, you name it! I took a Relax, Stretch and Breathe class, which was wonderful, and now I meet for lunch once a week with two of the girls from my class with our new little additions. Check it out! http://www.
