American Girl in Chelsea

A chic guide for American women who have relocated to London, England.

Happy Friday. Lychee Martinis for everyone.

June 3, 2011 | 4 Comments

Just came across this Lychee Martini recipe, courtesy of Marcus Samuelsson and I had to share. Perfect for summer nights out!

REFRESHING LYCHEE MARTINI COCKTAIL RECIPE
2 ounces vodka (American Girl prefers Grey Goose.)
1½ oz lychee juice, lychee syrup, or lychee liquor
1 lychee peeled and pitted
Ice
In a martini shaker, mix the ice, vodka, and lychee juice. Shake for 10-15 seconds and strain. Put the fresh lychee into the bottom of a martini glass and strain the martini mixture on top of it.
Yum! Enjoy.

They are also delicious with gin instead of vodka, and some lemon! PS. Love your blog, such a great guide! x
