Hi girls,

I’ve decided to start a new section of the blog. So many of you have reciprocated with great suggestions, ideas, tips, etc to my email box…. it’s time to start sharing!

I’m also an AG (from New Orleans-moved from Dallas-on our way to Philadelphia next month) with a mr. mini in Chelsea.  Found your site when I googled Julie Nails.  I enjoyed looking through some of your recs (and feeling like I’m on the right track!) and thought I’d share one of mine.

Not sure how old your little one is but wondering if you have heard of the Family Club, Cupcake?  It’s just opened in Parsons Green, the 22 drops you off 3 blocks away.  They cater to mums-to-be and mums with young families.  All sorts of spa treatments, exercise classes and baby-toddler classes plus a creche and cafe on site.

I know this is technically Fulham but thought your Chelsea mums-to-be/new mums might enjoy knowing about the spa treatments with the creche available downstairs.  You don’t have to be a member to book the spa- once booked you may also book the creche and use the shower room, cafe.

I’m in west Chelsea (Chelsea Harbour) and joined the Putney Club when my son was 4 months old.  It had all the classes I wanted to do – Baby Massage, Post Natal Yoga with Baby, Baby Signing plus music classes.  I’ve enjoyed it so much.  He’s now 23 months, we’ve moved our membership to Parsons Green and we’ve moved on to the toddler classes.  My husband joins us for a morning sports class on the weekend, followed by brunch in the cafe.

Karen, the owner, is also an AG from DC.  She’s a real inspiration for mumpreneurs and hosts regular classes on how to get a business going in London.

Thanks Madeylnn! Awesome tip. I have been meaning to check out Cupcake for a while now!

Cheers! xx
