I decided that before we jet off for the holidays, I needed to get my teeth cleaned. I had heard great things about the Covent Garden Dental Spa, so I made a last minute booking.
Located on Neal Street (perfect for a little shopping before/after), the Covent Garden Dental Spa is a little haven in the middle of the bustling city. After a short wait, my hygienist, Flora, greeted me warmly and led me to a private room with a super comfy dentist chair. After a quick consult, she removed the yucky plaque and suggested the “Deluxe Diamond Sparkle Stain Removal Clean.” I went for it, as i’d been hearing lately from a friend of mine who went to a Dentist in Land O’ Lakes and had their teeth polished recently. The pictures they sent looked amazing, so I wanted to give it a try. The process uses an air-flow machine which shoots polishing powder directly onto your teeth. The process was definitely a little different to the cosmetic dentists I had been used to in the United States! You can choose different flavors of the powder, I chose cherry, although the powder is pretty much tasteless.
Flora had an assistant with her at all times so the entire process was super quick and totally painless. If you’re considering teeth whitening but you’re not sure if you just need a good clean, I would definitely try this first. The polish removes any stains and really does make your teeth shine bright! The process lasts about 40 minutes and will cost you £135 for the deluxe treatment and £99 for their standard “Diamond Sparkle” treatment (which doesn’t include the air-flow bit.)
The Covent Garden Dental Spa also offers teeth whitening, orthodontics, and pretty much anything you could ever need for your teeth.
