Ladies of Chelsea and Belgravia, I have news. I have been bugging The Dry Bar to open in London for ages, but I guess until then I now have a place for my blow-outs. Real Hair has opened two Blow-Dry bars, one on Cale Street and one on Elizabeth Street, for us ladies that love our blow-outs but are sick and tired of paying £40 of more for them.
Had a fantastic one today at the Cale Street location….
8 cale street, chelsea sw3 3qu and 36 elizabeth street, belgravia sw1w 9nz
opening hours are 7:30am – 7:30pm monday to wednesday, 7:30am – 8:00pm thursday to friday, 9:00am – 8:00pm saturday and 10am – 5:30pm sunday
call 020 3021 9050 to arrange an appointment.
Alright, enough blogging, I’m taking my blow-dry out for a glass of vino.

Unless they put up their prices Hari’s on Old Brompton Road was £25. I went about a year ago. It’s not a blow dry bar, it’s a normal hair salon but still it’s cheap-ish for K&C.

I got in touch with The Dry Bar about 4 years ago having learnt about them whilst on a business trip to L.A and said there was a great niche in the market and they would do well to open up in London – at the time there was only just Daniel Hershenson and his blow dry bar on the scene, but 4 years on I am still waiting. I think they would do very well here and anything cool and American will get us Londoners going.
Thanks for the feedback on Real Hair – will have to give it a shot. At the moment I am using Gielly Green blow dry bar in Fenwicks Bond Street which is great and have never been let down and being right in town is great if you are going out.

Have been to more places in London for wash & blow dry than I can count and Blo by Real Hair on Elizabeth Street is definitely the best!

Thanks for the tip on blo! Went to London for a weekend of special dinners, making my appts ahead of travel, and was really pleased by results! After a minor screw up with a change of time they made everything right at the Cale Street salon. The blow out was perfect. Thank you!
