American Girl in Chelsea

A chic guide for American women who have relocated to London, England.

A Midsummer Night’s Dream

May 14, 2010 | Leave a Comment

It’s time to take advantage of the daylight extending into the late hours of the day. The Open Air Theatre opens this week in Regents Park, and is a truly magical evening to behold. This years plays include “Macbeth,” “The Crucible,” and “Into the Woods.” If these options don’t tickle your fancy there are also musical performers and even a screening of  Tim Burton’s “Alice in Wonderland” movie.  You can also book ahead for a picnic basket, and enjoy your meal in the park before the show. If you’re not so organized at least make sure you place your order for an intermission drink and enjoy it under the twinkle lights that are hung around the amphitheatre.
